The Chargers put on a show for the largest crowd of the year Friday night, April 17, against the Cougars of Clearwater Christian College, winning the first game 14-3. The following day, the Chargers were able to overcome some poor defense to win the double-header 9-4 and 8-6.

After five innings, Atlanta Christian's baseball team held a 3-2 lead over Guilford College. But Guilford scored five runs in the sixth inning, and defeated the Chargers 7-3.

Freshman pitcher Steve Ciupak (Chicago, Ill.) pitched six solid innings, getting his first -- and leading the Chargers to their first -- victory of the season against NAIA member Emmanuel College, 11-1.
