ACC offers the following types of degrees:
Associate of Arts – a two-year degree of 64 semester hours, available only in business, providing a first level of preparation for the student to function in a business environment, and appropriate for transfer or continuation toward a bachelor’s degree.
Bachelor of Arts – a four-year degree composed of general studies, including the study of a foreign language, biblical studies, professional studies, and electives totaling 128 or more semester hours.
Bachelor of Science – a four-year degree composed of general studies, biblical studies, professional studies, and electives totaling 128 semester hours (a foreign language is not required).
Bachelor of Theology – a fifth-year, undergraduate degree program for those who have completed a bachelor’s degree and who desire further study in Bible, theology, and Christian ministries. Track 1 is for those who have a previous baccalaureate degree with a major in biblical studies; Track 2 is for those who have a previous degree with another major (30 and 64 semester hours, respectively).
Majors
A major is the area of professional studies that the student pursues, sometimes with a specialization or emphasis also selected within the major. Depending on the major and the degree, the professional studies requirements can range from 33 to 66 semester hours.
In the traditional program, ACC offers majors in biblical studies, biblical studies and preaching ministry (dual major), biology, business/business administration, child and youth development, counseling and human services, early childhood education, English, English and biblical studies (dual major), history, humanities, humanities and biblical studies (dual major), music and psychology.
